Vincent A. Hicklin
Vincent A. Hicklin answered his call to ministry in 2002 at the age of 30. He pursued theological studies at the Brookstone School of Ministry, where he graduated in 2007 and received his ministerial license. Since then, Vincent has dedicated himself to serving in various capacities, including Children's Church, Prison Ministry, Men's Ministry, Singles Ministry, and Evangelism. In 2013, he was appointed Associate Pastor at The Well Church in Rock Hill, South Carolina. In 2024, he was honored to become the Chaplain of the American Legion Post 34 in Rock Hill, SC.
Vincent’s commitment to community engagement is evident in his diverse efforts. He has organized financial literacy and homeownership workshops, taught entrepreneurship classes, and spoken at networking events. Additionally, Vincent has showcased his creative talents by acting in, writing, and producing gospel plays and skits. A passionate entrepreneur, he serves as the CEO of Hicklin & Associates LLC, the Director of Camp Flight Academy, and the owner of Church Boy Unlimited.
In 2009, Vincent met his wife, Fontella, at The Well Church, and they married in 2010. Together, they serve in ministry, facilitating premarital counseling and supporting various church initiatives. The couple has four children, and Vincent is also a proud Army veteran.
In his personal time, Vincent enjoys spending quality time with his family, fishing, and playing golf. His multifaceted career and dedication to ministry, business, and community exemplify his unwavering commitment to service and leadership.
Fontella L. Hicklin
Fontella L. Hicklin discovered her anointing at the early age of 10, when she began writing short stories and singing for God. Her first story, titled "The Journey That Never Ends," marked the beginning of a lifelong passion for ministry. Throughout high school and college, Fontella formed gospel singing groups and performed in several gospel stage plays, nurturing her gifts and calling.
In high school, Fontella co-founded the gospel group Friends in Christ, which performed across North Carolina and won numerous talent competitions. In 2000, she became a founding member of the gospel group N-Vision, performing in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. The group recorded a single CD in 2012, further cementing their contribution to gospel music. Fontella has also made her mark as a playwright and producer, creating impactful gospel stage productions such as Why Can’t I Get Married (2010, co-written with her husband), When Christmas Calls (2019), The Trial, In the Midnight Hour, Musicville, Wakanda Together, and many more.
To grow as a leader, Fontella enrolled in the Brookstone School of Ministry at The Well Church. In 2007, she completed her studies and obtained her minister’s license. Over the years, she has served in multiple ministry roles, including Children’s Church, Singles Ministry, Praise & Worship, Drama Ministry, and as Associate Pastor overseeing Youth and Young Adult Ministries. She also served as Church Administrator at The Well Church for 12 years.
Fontella’s talents extend beyond ministry. She is an accomplished entrepreneur, playwright, music producer, and event planner. Her professional background includes experience as a hotel sales manager and wedding/events specialist. In 2022, Fontella launched Conversation with God, a retail clothing line inspired by her faith journey.

A breast cancer survivor since 2022, Fontella’s resilience and faith continue to inspire those around her. In her free time, she enjoys singing, spending time with her family, and painting.
